Currently working in production at Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, Sonia has spent the past few years starting a career in sports media.

Her work includes interviews with: NBA players Andris Biedrins, Ronny Turiaf, Marcus Camby, Greivis Vasquez, as well as former Golden State Warriors head coach Don Nelson and general manager Larry Riley; NFL offensive tackle Anthony Davis; NHL right wing Viktor Tikhonov; 2008 U.S. Olympic Synchronized Swim Team; and more.

Sonia has worked for various sports organizations in the Bay Area including: three-time Super Bowl champions, Oakland Raiders; Emmy award-winning and number one high school sports show in the nation, Cal-Hi Sports Bay Area; ESPN's TrueHoop Network affiliate, WarriorsWorld TV; and more.

With an educational background consisting of a Master of Arts in Multimedia Communications from the Academy of Art University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Journalism from San Francisco State University, Sonia has acquired skills to be a versatile contributor in print, online, and television media.

In her free time, she enjoys running, snowboarding, wakeboarding, basketball, cross-training, as well as reading, writing, television and movies, guitar, learning languages, video games, and spending time with friends and family.
